My son was born on 23:15 August 21, 2006 in Richmond General Hospital. He weighed 3.116 kg and his length was 50.5 cm. I felt the contraction at noon that day and I thought it was the time. I started to pack the luggage prepared for staying in the hospital. ( It should be prepared earlier, but I was always a little late.) I called the hospital, but they told me that it was too early to go to the hospital. Things were always like that. Around 5:00PM, my husband called again. This time they agreed
We went to the hospital and the nurse checked me. She told me that I made good progress, though at that time I didnot fully understand what she mentioned. As my requirement, she gave me a shot of pain killer recommended by the doctor on the phone. Unfortunately, this shot made me almost fall asleep since the doctor didnot consider I was very small. As the pain got stronger, I asked more pain reliever. This time they gave me the gas, but it was not so useful. I asked epidural to control the pain, but the request was rejected by the doctor since I was almost near the delivery. Finally the doctor arrived and I was ready to push. At first, I didnot know how to push. Luckily, those two nurses were very experienced that they found a way that I could manage to push successfully. Then, my baby was born and my husband cut the cord proudly. My baby didnot cry at first. Instead, he watched the outside world curiously
